The workwear wheel of fortune

Safety is the number one priority for infrastructure, construction, minerals and resource management organisations.

It is often a key part of an organisation’s commitment to sustainability, recognising that the work carried out can have a huge impact on local communities and wider society.

These organisations purchase and consume vast quantities of workwear and PPE for their workforce. Many of these items are made from hard plastics or polyester and nylon fabrics, and are not widely recycled at the end of their useful life. However, as they are made from plastics and nylon, they could be both made from and made back into similar products – or even back into the same products.

Focusing on the most visible and commonly used items of workwear and PPE, we are bringing together supply chain partners to research and develop a closed-loop, circular economy solution and deliver a “PPE for Life” opportunity in the UK. Contact us for more information.
