The Earthshot Prize, a global environmental award launched by Prince William, celebrates the power of human ingenuity and innovation in tackling climate change. Nominees are selected based on the proven viability of their prototypes, demonstrating signs of success and the potential to make a positive impact on the environment.

In putting us forward, CPI said: “We’ve nominated Stuff4Life for The Earthshot Prize for their work in bringing the circular economy to life through their innovative technology. With this nomination, Stuff4Life has the potential to boost their innovation with a catalytic £1 million prize that will scale their solution and accelerate it to market.”

Stuff4Life’s innovative technology is contributing to a sustainable workwear manufacturing industry through:
  • Recycling polyethylene terephthalate (PET) from disposed workwear
  • Cutting the industry’s dependency on fossil fuels
  • Creating a circular economy that turns rags to riches

Responding, Arco’s Head of Sustainability, Jim Harbidge, said: “We are deeply honoured to be working with a company that is bringing true innovation to our industry and contributing to a safer, healthier world. To be shortlisted for The Earthshot prize is recognition of the expertise and commitment within the team at Stuff4Life and we celebrate with them.”

We will keep you posted on our progress through this year’s competition! Meanwhile, you can watch the video CPI made about us ahead of COP28.
