We all buy stuff – the things we need for everyday life, special occasions, or to get out of a tight spot. But have you asked yourself the following questions: What is it made from and where and how was it made? How long will it last? And critically, at the end of its life, what is its fate?
Stuff4Life is all about ensuring the things we use can be used again. Whether it is essential kit that protects you in the workplace or other everyday items, our interest is in ensuring the item is made fairly from materials that are fit for purpose, will run the course and at the end of its useful life, can be made back into something of equal or higher value.
This is called the circular economy – where materials can be used over an over again rather than used once and discarded. Traditionally, this linear approach looked ‘cheap’ or even ‘cost effective – but that’s because many of the costs were less visible or even invisible. We make sure those costs are visible – and you get what you pay for.
We’re starting with garments and focusing on PPE – personal protective equipment – but our interest is much wider. If you have a problem, and if no-one else can help, maybe you should collaborate with… Stuff4Life. Contact us.
